Cycle Afternoon: Giro di Wirral

The first cycle day of the year is here and is taking place on the Friday 8th June.

We will be heading back over the water, riding a fun and scenic route through the Wirral's countryside.

Details are briefly as follows

• Set off c1245 from Hamilton Square station, Birkenhead

• Circular tour of the Wirral, with a stop halfway through to finish at c1630 at a local pub

• You will need a bike, helmet, suitable clothing as well as the usual spares you would carry (tubes, pump, etc)

• We will look to average around 12-15 mph

Please note that - in the spirit of self-sufficiency and budgetary constraints the route will not be marked and there will not be a support van. As such, you will either need to bring your own Garmin or be confident that you can keep up with others who have them!

More details will be provided in due course but please make a note in your diaries (and pray for sunshine).

Places for this event are free, however you are welcome to join us at the end for a beer and burger at your own expense.

Please book here to secure your place.
